A few of the things people often wonder about before booking. If there's something else on your mind, just ask, we're always happy to talk it through.

Ideally a few months before you start trying, a pre-conception check gives time to get your health in good shape, review any medications, sort immunisations, and start folate. Even if you're already trying, it's never too late to come in.
-
We'll look at your general health, review medications and immunisations, talk about folate and other supplements, and address anything in your history worth planning around. If you have any health conditions, we'll help get things well managed before you conceive.
-
As a general guide, it's worth coming in after around twelve months of trying, or sooner if you're over 35 or have known health factors. We can talk it through, arrange initial investigations, and guide you on next steps.

If specialist input would help, we'll refer you and work alongside your fertility specialist so your care stays coordinated and familiar, with us still involved throughout.
