Many minor skin and surgical procedures can be done right here at the practice, which means familiar surroundings, a team you know, and no need to be sent elsewhere for something straightforward.
Depending on what you need, this can include biopsies to check a spot, removing skin cancers and other lesions, cryotherapy (freezing) for sunspots and minor skin problems, and minor surgery such as removing cysts or lumps. Where a wound needs stitches, we take care to do it well, including flap and graft repairs when a little more is needed to heal and restore the skin neatly.
We will always explain what is involved beforehand, what to expect during and after, and how to care for the area as it heals. If a procedure is more than we should do here, we will arrange the right referral.
