Mental Health Care

$0.00

Life has its hard stretches, and sometimes they need more than time. Whether you are feeling low, anxious, overwhelmed, or just not yourself, coming in to talk is a good first step, and a normal one.

Our GPs have additional training in mental health, which means you can get real, focused support right here, from a doctor who knows you and your history. We will listen without rushing, help you make sense of what is going on, and work through it together using practical, evidence-based approaches. Appointments can be longer when that is what is needed, so there is room to talk properly rather than watching the clock.

Depending on what would help, that support might include a Mental Health Treatment Plan, which can give you access to subsidised sessions with a psychologist, help with sleep or stress, medication where it is appropriate, or simply regular check-ins as you find your footing. There is no bar you have to reach before it is worth booking, if things feel harder than they should, that is reason enough.

When to book: if you are struggling with your mood, stress, anxiety, or wellbeing, for yourself or someone you care for.

Note: if you are in crisis or need urgent help, please call Lifeline on 13 11 14, or 000 in an emergency.
