When it's relevant

You feel well and would like to stay that way, or you have a family history you would like to get ahead of.

Why it's worth a visit

The conditions that shorten life or limit independence usually build quietly over decades, and most have risk factors that can be changed.

How your GP can help

Your GP reviews your history, family history, fitness, sleep and current evidence on screening, and sets out a practical plan in order of what is likely to matter most for you.

Who can help

All of our GPs can help with this.

Book with your regular doctor, or with whoever is available. Meet our doctors.

Your questions answered

A few of the things people often wonder about before booking. If there's something else on your mind, just ask, we're always happy to talk it through.

Is this an anti-ageing service?

No. It is evidence-based preventative medicine. We do not offer treatments that claim to reverse ageing.

Will I need lots of tests?

Only those with good evidence behind them for someone of your age and history.

How long is the appointment?

A prolonged appointment of about 45 minutes.
